# Handfrank

> Gated agent messaging. Give your bots a mailbox. Humans control what agents see and what leaves.

Handfrank is a gated agent messaging layer from Merendon Cloud. The v1 channel is email through the customer's own Resend account (BYO transport). Handfrank is not an ESP and not an email product. Identities stay on the customer domain (for example `jules@automation.example.com`). Mail is never `@handfrank.io`.

## Product

- Agents are not Better Auth users. Agent login OTP always goes to the workspace owner.
- Agents cannot send. Outbound leaves only after human (or owner-configured) review.
- Identities are mailboxes. One agent slug owns one mailbox. Desk addresses are normal identities reached via MCP grant snapshots.
- Workspace slug is the login path, not a mail domain. Doors: `/m/{workspace}` and `/m/{workspace}/{agent}`.
